Open, and still new. We launched this week, and we're still building. If something doesn't work, feels unclear, or just seems off, tell us at admin@oncallsub.com. We read every message and reply.

Privacy

We ask for very little, and we don't hold your documents. Here's the whole list.

Last updated 2026-09-06

In short

We keep your name, email and mobile, an address we turn into map coordinates once, what you've declared about your training and insurance, any links you add, and your booking history.

We never ask for identity or tax numbers, immigration papers, card or bank details, or a copy of any document — there is nowhere on this site to upload one.

You can ask for a copy of your data, or close your account, on Your data. The detail is below.

What we keep, and for how long

Name, email, mobile
To run your account and to tell you when something is time-critical.
Deleted 30 days after you close your account
Your address
Turned into map coordinates once, so we can work out distance. Never shown to the other side.
Deleted 30 days after you close your account
What you've declared
School, certification name and date, whether you hold insurance and when it expires, how far you travel. Typed by you.
Deleted 30 days after you close your account
Your video profile
So a matched studio can hear you teach.
Deleted immediately, any time you ask
Links you added
Instagram, website. Public already.
Deleted immediately, any time you ask
Booking history
Who put their hand up for what, who confirmed, check-in times, and the answers both sides gave at close-out. This is what your record is made of.
Kept while your account is open. Anonymised 24 months after you close it

What we never ask for

The one thing you can't delete, and why

Everything on the list above is yours and goes when you say so. Booking history is different, because it isn't only about you. A class you taught is also a class a studio ran. If you could erase it, you'd be erasing their record at the same time.

So when you close your account, your name, your contact details and your video profile come off it. What's left is that a class happened on a date and what two people said about it afterwards — with nothing attached to identify you. That's also the reason a bad month can't be deleted by the person who had it.

What our records are not

OnCallSub doesn't process payment, so we never see money move. A booking here says an instructor put their hand up, a studio confirmed, and someone scanned a code at the door. It does not say anyone got paid.

Nothing on this site is a receipt, an invoice, a payroll record or a tax slip. We are not a payer and we don't issue T4A or 1099 forms. Your own bookkeeping is yours. These aren't financial records and we don't keep them as if they were.

Where it lives

Canadian data centres, with backups in the same country. Video profiles are stored encrypted. If that ever changes — for example if a supplier moves data to the United States — this page will say so before it happens, because a cross-border transfer has to be disclosed.

If something leaks

We tell you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner as soon as we know, in plain language: what was taken, when, and what to do about it. No waiting to see how bad it is.

Who's responsible

A named person, not a ticket queue. Privacy Officer, OnCallSub — admin@oncallsub.com. They answer access and deletion requests, and they're who to raise a problem with first.

Please come to us first. We can usually fix things in a day, and we can't fix what we don't hear about. The Privacy Commissioner will normally ask whether you've raised it with us before they take it up, so starting here is also the faster route.

If we don't resolve it, you can take it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca). That right is yours and nothing here removes it.
