What confirming a Sub actually creates
When a studio confirms an instructor, the two of them have agreed to cover one class on the terms shown on that Sub: the date, time, class, pay, and how and when payment will be made. That agreement is between the studio and the instructor. OnCallSub is not a party to it, does not sign it, and cannot enforce it.
OnCallSub is a place to meet, not an employer
OnCallSub introduces studios and instructors to each other. It is not an employer, employment agency, staffing agency, or temporary help agency, and it does not employ, engage, supervise, direct, or pay anyone who uses the platform.
Whether the working relationship between a studio and an instructor is employment, independent contracting, or something else is for the two parties to determine and for the relevant authorities in their jurisdiction to assess. OnCallSub does not make that determination and does not advise on it.
We don't check anything
Certifications, insurance, business registration, teaching hours, waiver practices and everything else shown on a profile are entered by the person or studio the profile describes. OnCallSub does not review, authenticate or confirm any of it.
Where a profile shows an expiry date, that date was entered by the account holder. Where something is marked expired, that is calculated from the date they gave us — it is not a finding by OnCallSub. Nothing on a profile should be read as OnCallSub confirming or endorsing what it shows.
We don't hold your documents
There is no way to upload a certificate, insurance policy, business registration or waiver, and we don't store them. What a profile shows is a statement by its owner that they hold the thing described.
Before the first class between any two parties, each should ask to see the other's original documents and confirm identity in person. That is the studio's and the instructor's responsibility, not ours.
No teaching assessment
Video profiles are recordings submitted by instructors, not examinations conducted by OnCallSub. We do not score them, assess teaching ability, competence or suitability for any particular class or client, and we do not run background or reference checks.
Payment is between you
OnCallSub does not process, hold, escrow, guarantee or collect payment. The pay shown on a Sub is what the studio has said it will pay, on the terms the studio gave.
If payment is late or never arrives, OnCallSub cannot recover it for the instructor. What it can do is record the outcome on the studio's profile for future instructors to read.
Cancellation expectations are not enforced by us
The published cancellation expectations describe what both sides agree is fair when they sign up. OnCallSub does not charge, withhold or transfer any amount under them. It records what happened.
Insurance, taxes and eligibility to work
Instructors are responsible for their own liability insurance, their own tax filings, and confirming they are legally permitted to work in the country where the class takes place.
Studios are responsible for client waivers, premises safety, premises insurance, and their own obligations to clients and staff. Each party attests to this when they sign up.
OnCallSub does not check any of it, does not collect national identity or tax numbers, and does not check immigration or work authorisation status.
Local law, wherever you are
OnCallSub is available in more than one country. Employment law, worker classification, minimum pay requirements, insurance requirements, tax treatment and data protection rules vary by jurisdiction and change over time.
Nothing on this platform — including the published cancellation expectations — overrides the law where you are, and nothing here is legal or tax advice. Both parties are responsible for the rules that apply to them locally. Pay amounts are stated by the studio in its own currency.
If a record is wrong, you get a reply, not an appeal
Either party may flag a record they believe is wrong. It is immediately marked as disputed on both profiles, and the other party has seven days to agree with the correction or stand by what they recorded.
OnCallSub does not investigate, adjudicate or decide who is right, and does not edit or delete a disputed record. Where the two accounts differ, both are published side by side and stay visible.
Facts generated by the platform — who put a hand up, who confirmed, and check-in timestamps — come from our own system logs and are not open to dispute through this process.
Records describe the past only
Show-up rate, on-time rate, rebook rate, cancellation counts and on-time payment rate are generated from activity on OnCallSub. They describe what has happened on this platform. They are not a prediction, recommendation, endorsement or guarantee of future performance.
What we're not liable for
OnCallSub is not liable for injury, loss, property damage, non-payment, non-attendance, or disputes arising from a class arranged through the platform. Any such dispute is between the studio and the instructor.
